Cloud database setup instructions

In Supabase SQL Editor, create the tables below. Then configure Row Level Security and policies for your authorised nursery users before using shared data.

create table public.varieties (
  id text primary key, name text not null, qr_value text unique,
  location text, batch text, updated_at timestamptz default now()
);
create table public.tasks (
  id text primary key, variety_id text not null,
  title text not null, due_date date, priority text,
  notes text, done boolean default false,
  created_at timestamptz default now(), completed_at timestamptz,
  updated_at timestamptz default now()
);

Do not use a service-role key in this page. A live shared database also requires suitable access policies; the app cannot configure your cloud account automatically.
